The outer cladding of the dome, dome drum, ball and cross is completely made of damask steel - high-quality stainless steel with a stable vacuum-plasma coating of titanium nitride "under the gold". Such a mirror coating is not subject to corrosion, does not fade and does not peel off under the influence of UV rays, frost, snow or rain.
