An icon is a sacred image that reflects the spiritual world and evokes feelings of reverence and worship. Icons have different shapes from small portable to large temple icons and different types: temple, descent, altar, ceramic, wooden, wedding, printed, antique.
Icons can be in a frame or without it, made of different materials - wood, metal, ceramics, printed on whiteboard. Some icons are placed in special kiosks for personal prayer. They can depict saints, events from biblical stories or other religious subjects. Icons are an important part of spiritual life for believers and are used both in churches and in home rituals and prayers.
