The image of the holy
martyr Ludmila of Bohemia - the first Christian ruler of the Czech Republic and

Ludmila, Princess of Bohemia, full-length. She is depicted in elegant princely
attire and a princely crown. In her right hand, the saint holds a four-pointed
martyr's cross - a symbol of her devotion to Christ, and her left hand is
raised in a prayerful gesture of turning to God.
