The wooden reliquary fully complies with Orthodox canons and is designed for long-term use both in churches and in private prayer rooms. The inside of the lid is decorated with an artistic carved image of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in a miter, with the Gospel and a blessing gesture. The shrine compartment is covered with transparent glass in a wide matte gold frame. This protects the relics from mechanical damage and dust, leaving them open for viewing.
