An analoi is a stand or footstool, which is usually located in front of the altar in a church temple. It can be made of wood, metal, stone, marble or other materials and serves so that the priest can place the Holy Scriptures on it and stand during divine services, prayers and rituals.
Analogy symbolizes the place where the priest stands before God to pray, preach and perform rites, as well as to communicate with the faithful.
